Clean kitchen, without the toxins

Hey there!

So, picture this: it's the end of a long day, and all you want to do is crawl into bed and drift off into dreamland. But wait! Before you cozy up under those covers, there's one important task that sets the stage for a blissful morning: the kitchen bedtime routine. Yep, you heard me right. Taking a few moments to tidy up the heart of your home before hitting the hay can make all the difference when you wake up to a clean and inviting space.

Now, let me walk you through my own little nightly ritual, which I like to call my "kitchen’s bed time routine" Oh, and let's not forget about my trusty sidekick during this routine: my version of the "sleepy girl mocktail" – a concoction of magnesium and tart cherry juice that not only helps me unwind but also supports a restful night's sleep. Cheers to that!

First things first, I tackle those dishes. There's something oddly satisfying about loading up the dishwasher, isn't there? With each plate and utensil placed neatly in its designated spot, I can almost feel the weight of the day lifting off my shoulders. Next up, a quick rinse of the sink – because nobody wants to wake up to yesterday's leftovers lingering in there.

Find nontoxic dishwasher tabs here.

Now, here's where the magic happens. I whip out my secret weapons: baking soda and Liv Holistic Lemon Oil. A sprinkle of baking soda followed by a few drops of lemon oil, and voila – instant freshness! My kitchen always smells like freshly sliced lemons in the morning, it’s magical.

With the sink shining and smelling divine, it's time to turn my attention to the countertops. A quick tidy-up and wipe-down with my go-to Branch Basics Cleaner, and suddenly, my kitchen feels brand new again.

Oh, and let's not forget to fill up that water filter – because hydration is key, even while we sleep!

Check out my favorite water filter here.

And just like that, my kitchen is ready to bid me a peaceful goodnight. As I sip on my sleepy girl mocktail and take one last glance around, I can't help but feel a sense of satisfaction knowing that I'll wake up to a clean and clutter-free space in the morning.

So, if you're looking to elevate your bedtime routine and set yourself up for a bright and cheerful morning, why not create your own version of a kitchen bed time routine? Trust me, your future self will thank you for it.

Until next time, happy cleaning and sweet dreams!

Cheers to a clean kitchen and great nights rest, XO

With gratitude,
Liv
